Terms and Conditions of Service

In these terms, the following expressions carry the meanings set out below.

• We, us, our means Qatar Dissertation Advisory, an academic consultancy operating from Doha in the State of Qatar
• You, your, the client means the individual who commissions services from us
• Consultant means the qualified specialist assigned to carry out your engagement
• Engagement means a specific piece of work agreed between us and governed by a written scope document
• Scope document means the written statement describing what will be delivered, at what price, on what schedule, and what is excluded
• Deliverable means any document, analysis, report or file produced under an engagement and supplied to you
• Materials means anything you supply to us, including drafts, data, transcripts, feedback and institutional documents

These terms apply to every engagement. By commissioning work you confirm that you have read them, that you accept them, and that you are at least eighteen years of age and legally able to enter into a contract.

This clause is placed near the beginning of these terms rather than buried at the end, because it governs everything that follows. If you disagree with anything in this section, do not commission work from us.

We operate as an ethical academic consultancy. Our services are research advisory, statistical and analytical advisory, and manuscript preparation and editing support. They exist to strengthen the work of a researcher who is doing their own research, in the same way that a statistical adviser, a research methods tutor or a professional academic editor does.

You remain the author of your work. You retain intellectual ownership of your research, you retain responsibility for the claims your thesis advances, and you retain accountability to your institution for what you submit under your name. Nothing we provide transfers authorship to us or removes that responsibility from you.

You are responsible for compliance with your own institution's rules. Academic integrity policies differ between universities, between faculties within a university, and between programmes within a faculty. Some permit professional editing freely, some require it to be declared, some restrict third party involvement in data analysis. It is your responsibility to know what your programme permits before you commission work, and to make any declaration your institution requires. We will supply a written statement describing the exact scope of work performed, at no charge, whenever you need one for a declaration.

We support disclosure. Candidates who declare professional editing or statistical advisory support are not penalised for doing so. Candidates who conceal a more extensive intervention are the ones who encounter difficulty. We will never advise you to hide that you worked with us.

We decline work that crosses the line. We refuse requests to sit an examination, to impersonate a candidate in a viva or supervision meeting, to falsify or fabricate data, to manipulate results towards a desired conclusion, to conceal unattributed source material, or to defeat originality detection by technical means. These refusals are not negotiable and are not affected by deadline pressure or by the fee offered.

Every engagement is governed by a written scope document issued before any payment is taken and before any work begins. The scope document is the definitive record of what has been agreed, and it prevails over any informal discussion, verbal assurance or message exchanged beforehand.

Each scope document sets out the following.

• The specific deliverables, described precisely rather than in general terms
• The word count, chapter range, dataset size or document length the price is based on
• The fixed price in United States dollars and the milestone structure
• The delivery schedule, including intermediate milestones where the engagement has them
• The number of revision rounds included and what counts as a revision within scope
• What is expressly excluded
• The referencing style, formatting standard or institutional template that applies

Work that falls outside the scope document is not included in the agreed price. Where you request something additional, we will tell you before doing it and issue a separate written quotation. We do not carry out unrequested extra work and then invoice for it.

The following are outside our services in all circumstances, regardless of the fee offered or the urgency claimed.

• Sitting any examination, test or assessment on your behalf
• Attending a viva, supervision meeting, defence or any other academic engagement while representing ourselves as you
• Accessing your university account, learning platform or submission portal using your credentials
• Submitting work to your institution on your behalf
• Fabricating, inventing or altering research data, survey responses or interview transcripts
• Steering an analysis towards a predetermined result rather than reporting what the data shows
• Concealing source material that carries no attribution
• Any technical manipulation intended to defeat originality or artificial intelligence detection software
• Guaranteeing a specific grade, classification, examination outcome or similarity percentage

We will tell you plainly and without judgement if a request falls into this list, and where possible we will describe what we can legitimately do instead.

Quotations are provided free of charge and carry no obligation. To quote accurately we normally need to see a representative sample of your material, your word count or dataset size, your deadline and your referencing requirements.

• A quotation is valid for fourteen days from the date of issue
• Prices are quoted in United States dollars and are fixed for the scope described
• The price does not change during the engagement unless you request work outside the agreed scope
• An engagement begins when you confirm the scope document in writing and the first milestone payment is received
• A Non Disclosure Agreement is executed before you transmit any material, including material sent only for quotation purposes

Where a diagnostic assessment reveals that your material needs a different service or a deeper level of intervention than you requested, we will tell you before issuing a quotation rather than delivering an inadequate service at the price you expected.

Payment is structured in milestones so that neither party carries the whole risk of the engagement. The exact structure is recorded in your scope document and follows these standard patterns.

Engagements under two thousand words or under seven days

• One hundred percent on confirmation of the scope document

Standard engagements

• Fifty percent on confirmation of the scope document, before work begins
• Fifty percent on delivery of the final deliverable

Extended engagements, such as a full doctoral thesis

• Thirty percent on confirmation of the scope document
• Thirty percent at the agreed midpoint milestone
• Forty percent on delivery of the final deliverable

The following apply to all engagements.

• Work does not begin until the first milestone payment is received and cleared
• Final deliverables are released on receipt of the closing payment
• Invoices are payable within seven days of issue unless the scope document states otherwise
• Bank charges and currency conversion costs applied by your own bank are your responsibility
• Where a milestone payment is more than fourteen days overdue, we may suspend work and the delivery schedule is extended by the period of the delay
• No card details are collected or stored through this website

Delivery dates are recorded in the scope document and are calculated in working days from the date the first milestone payment clears, not from the date of your first enquiry.

• Extended engagements are delivered in progressive milestones so that you can review work as it develops rather than receiving everything at the deadline
• Delivery is made electronically to the email address recorded in your scope document
• Where a deliverable is time critical, we will confirm the schedule in writing before you commit, and we will decline a deadline we do not believe is achievable rather than accept it and miss it

A delivery schedule is conditional on you supplying the agreed materials on time and responding to consultant queries within a reasonable period. Where a query blocks progress and remains unanswered, the schedule extends by the period of the delay. We will always tell you when this happens rather than allowing a deadline to pass silently.

If we fail to deliver on the agreed date for reasons within our control, and the delay is material, you are entitled to a proportionate refund of the affected milestone. We would rather refund you than defend a missed deadline.

Revisions correcting work that does not match the agreed scope document are included at no additional charge. This is the core of our commitment: if what we delivered does not match what we agreed to deliver, we fix it without further payment.

Included within scope

• Correction of anything that does not meet the specification recorded in the scope document
• Correction of errors, inconsistencies or omissions in our work
• Adjustments responding to supervisor feedback that relates to the work we performed
• Reformatting where the applied standard does not match the agreed referencing style or institutional template
• Clarification of any analysis, edit or decision we made, explained until you understand it well enough to defend it

Outside scope, quoted separately

• A change to your research question, methodology, theoretical framework or argument after the work was completed
• New data collected after the analysis was delivered
• Additional chapters, sections or word count not included in the original scope
• A change of referencing style or institutional template after delivery
• Supervisor feedback directed at parts of the thesis we were never engaged to work on

Revision requests within scope should be submitted within thirty days of final delivery. Each request should identify specifically what does not match the scope document, which allows the consultant to address it precisely.

Where an engagement includes a stated number of revision rounds, that number is recorded in the scope document. Where the scope document states unlimited revisions within scope, that means exactly what it says for the duration of the thirty day window.

The quality of what we deliver depends substantially on what you provide. By commissioning work you agree to the following.

• To supply accurate, complete materials, including your programme handbook, marking rubric or formatting template where these govern the work
• To confirm the correct referencing style before work begins, since applying the wrong one is costly to undo
• To respond to consultant queries within a reasonable period so the schedule can be maintained
• To confirm that materials you supply are your own work, or are properly licensed or attributed
• To confirm that any data you supply was collected with the ethical approvals your institution requires
• To make any declaration of professional support that your institution requires
• To retain your own backup copy of everything you send us and everything we return
• To review deliverables on receipt and raise any concern within the revision window

We rely on your confirmations about ethical approval and the origin of your materials. We are not able to independently verify them and we do not accept responsibility for consequences arising from inaccurate confirmations.

You own your research. This is not a courtesy and it is not conditional.

• All materials you supply remain your property at all times
• All deliverables produced under an engagement transfer to you in full on receipt of final payment
• We claim no ongoing interest, licence or residual right in your research, your data or your thesis
• We do not retain deliverables as samples, portfolio pieces, templates or training material
• Your work is never resold, recycled, reused or shown to any other client

Until final payment is received, deliverables remain our property and are supplied for review purposes only. This is a standard commercial protection and does not affect the position once payment is complete.

Our own internal methods, checklists and working documents remain ours and are not transferred to you.

A binding Non Disclosure Agreement is executed before you transmit any material. Your identity, institution, supervisor, topic, data and every draft are treated as strictly confidential without time limit, and that obligation survives the end of the engagement permanently.

Every consultant and reviewer is bound by an individual confidentiality undertaking before being granted access to your material, and access is granted per project rather than across our client base.

We will not confirm to any external party that you are or have been a client. Full detail on how information is collected, secured, retained and deleted is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

You may cancel an engagement at any time by written notice. What is refundable depends on how much work has been carried out.

• Before work begins: full refund of any payment made, less any bank charges actually incurred
• After work begins: refund of the unworked portion, calculated against the milestones completed and evidenced by the work performed to that point
• After final delivery: no refund, except where the deliverable materially fails to match the scope document and we are unable to correct it through revision

Where we cancel an engagement for a reason within our control, you receive a full refund of all amounts paid for work not yet delivered. Where we cancel because a request falls outside what we are willing to provide, you receive a full refund of any amount relating to work not yet performed.

Approved refunds are processed within fourteen working days to the original payment method.

We do not offer refunds on the basis of the grade or examination outcome you receive. No consultancy can control how an examiner assesses a thesis, and any provider offering such a guarantee is not being honest with you.

We accept responsibility for the quality of our own work and we correct it at our cost where it does not meet the agreed scope. There are limits to what we can reasonably accept responsibility for, and they are set out here plainly.

• Our total liability under any engagement is limited to the total amount you paid for that engagement
• We are not liable for academic outcomes, including grades, classifications, examination results or admission decisions
• We are not liable for consequences arising from your failure to comply with your own institution's academic integrity policy, including any failure to make a required declaration
• We are not liable for consequences arising from inaccurate or incomplete materials or confirmations you supplied
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of opportunity, funding or professional advancement

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the law of the State of Qatar.

We may suspend or terminate an engagement where any of the following occurs.

• A milestone payment remains more than fourteen days overdue
• A request is made that falls outside the services we are willing to provide
• Material supplied to us appears to contain substantial unattributed source content, which we will raise with you directly before taking any action
• A consultant is subjected to abusive or threatening conduct
• Continuing would place us in breach of any legal obligation

Where we terminate for non payment, work completed to that point remains payable. Where we terminate for any other reason, amounts relating to work not yet performed are refunded in full.

Neither party is liable for failure to perform obligations where that failure results from an event beyond reasonable control, including serious illness, bereavement, natural disaster, armed conflict, government action, or sustained failure of telecommunications or internet infrastructure.

Where such an event affects a delivery schedule, we will notify you as soon as we are able, and either reassign your engagement to another qualified consultant or agree a revised schedule with you. If neither is acceptable, you may cancel and receive a refund of amounts relating to work not yet delivered.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Any dispute arising from an engagement falls within the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the State of Qatar.

Before commencing any formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter directly and in good faith. In our experience essentially every disagreement is resolved at this stage, and we would ask you to raise a concern with us before escalating it.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision is severed and the remaining provisions continue in full effect.

These terms may be revised from time to time. The date at the top of this page records the most recent revision.

The version of these terms in force on the date your scope document is confirmed governs that engagement for its full duration. A later revision does not retroactively alter an engagement already underway.
